Overview

The Senior Marketing Manager, Residential will serve under the direction of the Director of Marketing as a marketing program lead for the Residential Division, including its consumer, international, large accounts, and government sectors. The Senior Marketing Manager will assist in the development of a marketing strategy that generates leads and brand awareness goals, nurtures customers and accounts, and develops presentation materials for opportunities.  The role will do this by helping to develop and adjust strategy and by creating and implementing marketing campaigns and managing associated marketing tactics and budget needed to achieve goals. The role will be responsible for end-to-end marketing management, including management of campaign documents, collateral and content creation and brand alignment across multiple platforms, including digital and offline. The role will track and analyze campaign performance data against KPIs and success metrics to determine ROI.  

Responsibilities

  • Assists with the creation of the marketing program strategy for the Residential Division, aligning with the business unit goals and measurable objectives, budget.   
  • Develops campaigns by targeting using audience segmentation and determines positioning, messaging. Manages campaigns across promotional tactics including digital, social, email, direct mail, events, etc.
  • Develops needed marketing and sales materials for all market segments, including BtoB and BtoG, which includes presentation and accompanying materials.
  • Implements marketing tactics according to strategy and campaign plans; measures results and adjusts tactics/plan as needed.
  • Ensures brand alignment of creative and use of one voice in messaging in all marketing promotion.
  • Generates ongoing performance analysis and reporting, tracking against KPIs, success metrics and budget to drive to ROM, ROI; provides regular analysis in terms of performance.
  • Creates budget and tracks and analyzes spending.
  • Contributes to key marketing initiatives to help with lead and sales generation including ongoing updating of website.  
  • Maintains marketing program and campaign tracking documents.
  • Oversees creation of creative assets, including emails, digital banner ads and print ads.
  • Manages outside vendors and agencies as needed.
  • Other responsibilities as needed.

Qualifications

  • MBA preferred. Bachelor’s degree required, preferred in; Bachelor’s degrees in Business Administration, Communications, Liberal Arts considered with relevant experience.
  • 7+ years of experience in marketing, preferably with lead generation in a sales-driven organization. Agency experience a plus.
  • Hands-on experience with marketing campaign creation and management using market segmentation and targeting for multiple markets including BtoC and BtoB.
  • Understanding of digital tactics, including SEO, SEM, PPC; and content marketing.
  • Knowledgeable of brand and messaging alignment and management.
  • Understanding of target marketing, segmentation and personas.
  • Ability to track and analyze results using data analytics and data visualization tools. Experience with Google Analytics/Data Studio, PowerBI or Tableau a plus.
  • Experience with budgeting and budget process required.
  • Ability to develop presentation materials, particularly for large B2B accounts.
  • Understanding of the following a plus: customer data management platform tools (HubSpot); CRMs (Dynamics, Salesforce), CMS (WordPress), and project management (Basecamp, Trello).
  • Thorough understanding of marketing concepts, strategy, tactical management, and analysis.
  • Proven ability to be a strategic thinker and to create tactics to implement the strategy.
  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail and flexibility – all are vital to multi-task across. many projects with varying deadlines.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
